Intermediate Civil Engineer

Roading Project Manager

The project will involve the management of Road Construction, earthworks, drainage, culverts, and traffic management.

Your responsibilities will include:

Development of excellent working relationships with subcontractors

Liaising with the Senior Project Engineer on issues affecting project delivery, traffic management or community relations

Resolving technical queries on-site and liaising with design consultants

mplementation of management systems

Monitoring performance measures

Detailed cost estimates

QA and OSH

Ideally you will have a minimum qualification of NZCE or equivalent.

You will be able to demonstrate:

The ability to manage the delivery of road projects, including knowledge and understanding of computer based project management tools, quality assurance, OSH and environmental management in civil construction

Sound knowledge of contract management principles

Ability to manage and motivate a direct control workforce

Well developed written and oral communications skills

It is anticipated that you will have at least 5 - 6 years experience in civil contracting and be able to demonstrate a track record of helping to deliver major infrastructure projects on-time and within budget.
