Drive a team of electrical engineers and work closely with the Principal Engineer to ensure the effective implementation of project specifications.

Senior Building Services Mechanical Eng

Due to continuing success of our clients operations we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Building Services Engineer with at least 7 years experience to play a lead technical and management role in a wide range of multi-disciplinary projects both locally and internationally.
 
Working with a dedicated Building Services team, you will be responsible for scoping services, preparing proposals and conceptual design through to detailed design and construction for a range of clients including internal and external architects, developers, property managers, building owners etc. across all industry sectors associated with building works.  You will work with consultants from other disciplines to deliver projects, along with playing a supervisory and mentoring role to less experienced Engineers.
 
Having strong design and project management skills, you will be able to work both independently and as part of multi-disciplinary teams, using your high level communication skills.  Thriving in a team environment with challenging projects, your leadership skills, eye for detail and ability to develop internal and external working relationships will then ensure your success. 
 
A solid understanding and interest in Sustainable Building Design relative to Mechanical Services engineering would also be advantageous.

Due to increased business my client is looking to recruit a proven electrical building services engineer to work in a full time position. We are currently looking for candidates with anything from 2-5 years experience. The successful applicant must have at least one years experience in New Zealand.

You must have excellent presentation and communication skills and work well as part of a well established team organisation. Your role will be electrical design on commercial, industrial and some high rise residential.
 
Specifically, your tasks will be
Assist in the design of electrical components for multi-disciplinary projects from conception to completion.
Design will include general and emergency lighting, automatic lighting controls, medium and low voltage power distributions, security, fire detection and alarm.
Refurbishments, upgrades and brand new projects, from high rise buildings, heritage, industrial and more.
